What: a robin!

Where: Dix Hills
Sorry this picture isn't better quality, but robins seem to be a little camera shy. There was a rowdy group of them at the bottom of my parent's driveway. They were having a party and I think worms were the honored guests!
What: forsythia
Where: my living room
This isn't really cheating. One of the spring traditions in my family is to watch buds form on the forsythia and cut some branches as soon as they can be forced to bloom indoors.

Hi Cheryl,
It's Kathy from your 703 and 701 classes!! Like the blog on spring -- and the robin photo is great. I got to know a robin last year that hung out in a tree over the back deck of my share house on Fire Island in Fair Harbor. I affectionately called him "fat robin" because he was a little round. But, he loved to sing and was always singing away when I went out there. See you in class!!
